The University of Massachusetts football team brings its spring practice sessions to an end Friday night with the annual spring game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at McGuirk Stadium.
The teams are set, the stars are benched and the future starts now for many of the team’s youngsters.
Though really only a glorified scrimmage, this is the last chance for fans to get a look at the Minutemen until fall training camp opens in August. Attendance is free and the first 1,000 students will receive a white tank top featuring the 2015 schedule.
But if you can’t make it out to Amherst on a Friday night, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let’s take a look your options:

Like last year, College Sports Live will be providing a free video feed from McGuirk.
Fans can stream the game from their desktop or laptop computer right here. The broadcast starts up at 6:40 p.m.
I’d also suggest giving me a follow on Twitter, because I’ll be updating with commentary throughout the game. I’ll also be running a live blog with updates right here on MassLive.com.
For those who will be attending, here’s what the team has prepared for promotional activities:
- 4 p.m. – Lot 11 opens for tailgating
- 5:30 p.m. – Youth clinic
- 6 p.m. – Gates open/player autograph session
- 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Openhouse with athletic director Ryan Bamford at the Football Performance Center
- 7 p.m. – Kickoff
