At long last, the University of Massachusetts basketball team finally gets underway at the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament. First up for the Minutemen is a second-round matchup with Rhode Island.
Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
If you won’t be making it into NYC to catch the game in person, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let’s take a look your options:
First off, I’d suggest giving me a follow on Twitter because I’ll be sharing commentary throughout the game that will also be part of a live blog I’ll be running right here on MassLive.com.
Thursday’s game, along with every other college basketball game from now until the national championship game in April, will be aired on TV. For UMass fans, the station to tune into is NBCSN, which you all should be familiar with by now. But if you need a little help, you can plug your zip code into this handy channel finder.
Along with the NBCSN television broadcast comes an NBC-produced online stream of the game. That service, as always, is called NBC Live Extra on your computer desktop. For mobile devices, you can download Apple iOS and Google Android apps.
As always, fans can listen to the game on the radio with Josh Maurer and Tim Collins. Here are the local stations:
- 105.5 FM WEEI (Springfield/Amherst)
- 830 AM WCRN (Worcester)
- 1200 AM WXKS (Boston, Manchester, Providence)
If worst comes to worst, you can always just follow along with the live stats on GameTracker.
