UMass basketball vs. George Mason TV broadcast, online video, radio: Where to watch the Minutemen Sunday

The University of Massachusetts basketball team returns home to Amherst Sunday for an afternoon matinee matchup with George Mason.

Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. at the Mullins Center.

If you won’t be making it onto campus to catch the game in person, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let’s take a look your options:

Live blog

First off, I’d suggest giving me a follow on Twitter because I’ll be sharing commentary throughout the game that will also be part of a live blog I’ll be running right here on MassLive.com.

Television

After several regional broadcasts, Sunday’s game will be back to be nationally televised, this time on NBCSN.

UMass fans should be no strangers to the network by now, but if you’re still not sure where to look, you can plug your zip code into this handy channel finder for help.

Online video

Along with the NBCSN broadcast comes an online streaming option via the NBC Live Extra service. The online feed is free of charge to watch, but it’ll require your cable provider log-in information for verification before you can bring up the game.

NBC also provides mobile app options for the service to watch.

Radio

As always, fans can listen to the game on the radio with Josh Maurer and Tim Collins. Here are the local stations:

  • 105.5 FM WEEI (Springfield/Amherst)
  • 830 AM WCRN (Worcester)
  • 95.9 FM WATD (South Shore)
  • 1200 AM WXKS (Boston, Manchester, Providence)

You can also listen online via WEEI’s website or with the TuneIn Radio app for smartphones and tablets.

If worst comes to worst, you can always just follow along with the live stats on GameTracker.
