UMass basketball vs. Fordham TV broadcast, online video, radio: Where to watch the Minutemen Wednesday

The University of Massachusetts basketball team wraps up its two-game road trip Wednesday with a rematch at Fordham.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Gymnasium in the Bronx, New York.

Be sure to read through my preview for the game and check out MassLive.com’s complete UMass basketball coverage right here.

If you won’t be making it down to NYC to catch the game in person, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered as you look for somewhere to follow along with the action. Let’s take a look your options:

Live blog

First off, I’d suggest giving me a follow on Twitter because I’ll be sharing commentary throughout the game that will also be part of a live blog I’ll be running right here on MassLive.com.

Television

Like the team’s last game against Duquesne on Sunday, Wednesday’s matchup is being distributed by the American Sports Network.

Again, that’s not a real channel. What it means is that the game will be broadcast regionally around the country on various networks. In Massachusetts, the station to tune into is Comcast Sports Network New England (CSNNE).

If you don’t live here in MA, you can follow this link to ASN’s affiliate finder tool. It’s as simple as selecting your game and inputing your zip code.

Online video

If you won’t be near a television this afternoon, you can also watch the game via a lives online stream presented by the Atlantic 10 Digital Network.

Be ready to have to log-in and pay $4.95 (apparently the cost has been bumped up to $6.95, which seems like an awful steep price for a product that likely hasn’t gotten two dollars better) for a day pass, if necessary.

Radio

As always, fans can listen to the game on the radio with Josh Maurer and Tim Collins. Here are the local stations:

  • 105.5 FM WEEI (Springfield/Amherst)
  • 830 AM WCRN (Worcester)
  • 95.9 FM WATD (South Shore)
  • 1200 AM WXKS (Boston, Manchester, Providence)

You can also listen online via WEEI’s website or with the TuneIn Radio app for smartphones and tablets.

If worst comes to worst, you can always just follow along with the live stats on GameTracker.
