Publishers, this May I’m going to teach you everything you need to know to get started with online video marketing—and it’s only going to take three hours.
I’m talking about my course, “Online Video Marketing, Branding, and Distribution Strategies.” which I’ll be conducting on May 11th at Streaming Media East in New York City. This marks my third time speaking at a Streaming Media event. I’ve held sessions on a variety of online video topics before, including how to market online videos, how to brand every production, and how to get the right people involved.
But I’m especially excited about this year’s Streaming Media East. For the first time, the conference will present a pre-conference day called Streaming Media University, where instructors will lead intensive workshops. Instead of running a small breakout session, I’ll be leading an in-depth, three-hour workshop.
The course lasts from 1:30PM to 4:30PM. We’ll focus on topics that are essential to online video publishers. I’ll share ideas on creating video content that aligns with your marketing objectives, and we’ll talk about the value of online video as it relates to product releases, exclusive customer content, sponsored series, and more.
You’ll leave with tangible examples of editorial calendars that work. I’ll show you how to use trending topics and events to spark creative online videos. And, of course, you’ll learn how to brand your videos throughout the entire production process with aesthetics, lighting, and editing.
No online video workshop is complete without explaining distribution. We’ll cover the heavy-hitters: YouTube, Instagram, and industry-specific platforms, as well as a few of the new video social media apps like Meerkat and Periscope. Leveraging analytics to refine future online video campaigns is critical, so we’ll cover that, as well.
I hope you’ll join me for this session. The cost is only $295 if you register by April 10th. I’ll be working on the exact workshop plan over the next few weeks. If you have any questions or suggestions for topics that you want to see covered, please leave a note in the comment field below. See you there!
