Rutgers launches new mini-MBA course

The Rutgers Business School said Monday it will debut a new Executive Education mini-MBA program on April 20.

The fully online program, called Viral Video Marketing: Social Sharing Demystified, is based on data that can be analyzed and applied to future marketing strategies, according to program manager Jennie Fine. Data would be provided by Unruly, a video advertising technology company.

The course, designed for marketers, product brand managers and creative agents, is aimed to teach participants how to plan, create and deploy media that has the potential to go viral. It will focus on current video myths and trends, YouTube advantages and the use of mobile technology, according to a release.
