Pay A Visit To Belle Reve In Twenty One Pilots Music Video For Suicide Squad

Can you remember the last time a movie had a music video like this? Despite it feeling like a somewhat dated marketing tactic, it’s hard to complain when it offers up a new look at Suicide Squad footage and a glimpse inside the prison that the members of Task Force X call home when we meet them in the movie. Of course, it also helps that “Heathens” by twenty one pilots is a pretty good song, and it definitely seems to suit the tone of Suicide Squad quite well based on what we’ve seen in trailers.

Warner Bros.’ entire marketing campaign seems to have shifted gear lately though. What looked like a very dark (and possibly R-Rated) movie at last year’s Comic-Con is now being shown off with colourful posters and TV spots full of jokes. A reaction to the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice reviews? Almost certainly.

As good as this song is, the one really worth being excited about is “Purple Lamborghini” by Skrillex and Rick Ross. It’ll be released on July 1st and is set to feature Jared Leto once again suited up as The Joker – which we’re definitely looking forward to.

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, Ben Affleck and a number of others, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th.
