Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman responded to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s signing of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court on Wednesday.

Liberman said that Abbas « can sign whichever treaty he wants. The only ones who have committed war crimes in the conflict here are the Palestinians. »

He said that the Palestinians were responsible for  » indiscriminate murderous terrorism against babies, children, women and men over the past 100 years. »

He said that Abbas « shouldn’t threaten us –  the nation with the most moral army in the world. »
