Comcast’s TheVideoPlatform combines broadcast, online video

Comcast Wholesale and Comcast subsidiary ThePlatform have unveiled TheVideoPlatform, a comprehensive solution to unify broadcast and online video technologies, allowing media and entertainment companies to deliver video to end-users across all screens. TheVideoPlatform covers video management, publication, distribution and monetisation. The new solution is powered by Comcast’s online video platform, mpx. 

Free Speech TV (FSTV), an independent non-profit news network serving 40 million subscribers, recently launched TheVideoPlatform for its linear and online content distribution. The platform streamlined the network’s previously fragmented, multi-vendor workflow enabling the channel to reach a broad range of devices and platforms for both broadcast and digital distribution.
