Agent-branded automated video marketing tool gets an update

The automated video marketing tool for brokers and agents, MarketVideos.com, now includes a Spanish-language option, eight design templates and the ability for real estate pros to create up to five market videos under one account.

Agents also now have the option to sign up for a stripped-down, free MarketVideos.com account, which they can use to create a branded national market video that will be automatically updated each month.

Market data in the videos is updated automatically on the sixth of every month. With paid accounts, real estate pros can create market videos on various geographic scales including at the ZIP code, city or county level.

Real estate video marketing firm VScreen first launched the first version of MarketVideos.com in 2012, powered by multiple listing service metrics from real estate data firm Terradatum. VScreen also makes a broker-tailored version of the product.

The market videos, which run approximately 60 seconds and include narration, start out with an agent’s branding and then display a variety of market info including:

  • Change in listing inventory on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Change in median list price from the year before.
  • Change in days on market for listings from the year before.
  • The median sale price over the last three months.
  • Change in units sold from the year before.

“There’s no easier way for agents to stay top of mind with their prospective clients and become the local go-to real estate expert,” VScreen CEO Stephen Schweickart said in a statement.

Paid accounts also give agents access to MarketVideos.com’s drip-email platform that sends out a newsletter with market videos to an agent’s database automatically each month.

In the free version, brokers and agents can link to their market video on MarketVideos.com via social media and email, but they can’t embed the video on their own sites.

The free offering is designed to whet brokers’ and agents’ appetites for the product and entice them to subscribe for the more advanced features, Schweickart told Inman.

VScreen entered the automated listing video field last year with the broker-focused product ListingVideos.com.
